Most of the hotels, resorts and convention facilities we encouter use a mix of both carpeted and hard floor surfaces so clients opt to get both vacuuming robots and floor scrubbing robots. For vacuuming,
Vacuum 40 and
Vacuum 50 can handle just about any facility no matter how small or large, with multiple units handling the largest of facilities. Each can handle up to 100,000ft² of carpeted area on a daily basis. We would also break down the recommendations based on your elevator requirements should you need the robots to interface with them.
For hotels and resorts with hard floors, the most commonly used models are the
Scrubber 60 and the
Scrubber 75, both of which can handle cleaning over 100,000ft² on a daily basis. These are heavy duty models that can withstand heavy foot traffic and dirt and debris tracked in from outdoor areas. Cleaning agents can be added to the robots and automatically dispensed to the correct dosage using the optional workstations. In addition, the millimeter wave LIDAR on these units allow the robots to precisely clean all areas and avoid contact with both employees and guests.
The cost savings of using the cleaning robots are drastic with most clients seeing returns on investment of 12 months or less. Even when deploying in areas with heavily unionized workforces, we've seen high uptake and increased job satisfaction from workers when deploying the cleaning robots as workers compensation and injury rates have been historically high for floor cleaners. Those workers can reallocate their time to easier, yet all the more important detail cleaning work, such as wiping clean any high-contact surfaces such as door knobs, buttons, levers, handrails and bathroom fixtures. Whether the floors are polished concrete, natural stone tiles or epoxy, our floor scrubbers will ensure they're clean and your guests satisfied.
