Phantas incorporate the groundbreaking auto spot cleaning mode in its path planning that allows for unparalleled efficiency and floor coverage. When operating in this mode, the robot scans the cleanliness of the floor and autonomously performs spot cleaning where it detects dust and debris. If it encounters trash too large for it to clean, the robot will notify the operator via the mobile app. By cleaning only where it is needed, Phantas can cover up to 400% more area per hour and significantly reduces the usage of water, energy and cleaning chemicals.

The battery life on the Phantas ranges from 5 to 18 hours depending on the cleaning configuration. In the most aggressive mode, the battery life will be on the lower end and in the dust mop mode, it will be on the upper end. Typically Phantas is good for 15,000ft² to 25,000ft² of raw floor space per charge in the standard cleaning mode. When the robot is first deployed, we suggest running it with the highest suction to extract as much dust out of the carpet, or better yet, running a carpet extractor before deploying the robot.

Our engineers will go over all the fundamental requirements on your facility, such as aisle width, types of walls and surfaces you have to ensure the robot will be able to freely navigate and move around uninmpeded. We recommend having a dedicated area for the robot to return to upon the completion of the task. If there are elevators involved, our engineers will need to collect all the details to see if we can have our cleaning robots interface with them. Older elevators lack any mechanism to interface with them while newer elevators with API back end support might be able to support the robots.

The Phantas can detect obstacles from over 150 feet away with the LIDAR unit, and can see moving objects, such as people or service animals from 6 feet away. If it detects a risk of collision, it immediately slows down or changes course to avoid the obstacle. Unless you're intentionally moving towards the robot without looking in its direction, it'd be incredibly difficult for the robot to bump into you. We've had no issues with the robot running into people in the field, it could only theoretically happen if the operator didn't keep the sensors clean and unobstructed.
